Coverage
No responsible preliminary trademark clearance stops at the USPTO. Common law users don't file (they sue).
Most branding decisions don't need a treatise — they need clarity: continue or pivot.
Responsible AI
Your trademark strategies are never submitted to publicly available large learning models ("LLMs"). Our searches are conducted within a closed system using cached data that is frequently updated. We do not collect data on your clients, and minimal on ours.

The report
A logically structured report that helps you walk your clients through the risks.
“
Every data point in your trademark clearance report links directly to its source, making search results easy to verify and document, for an audit trail that demonstrates thorough, defensible due diligence.

Results summary
The AI Risk Assessment focuses on DuPont similarity factors; it cannot replace the nuanced analysis by an experienced trademark attorney.
Workflow
Enter the proposed trademark and indicate whether it is a standard character mark or a design mark.
Good Input = Good Output. AI performs best when given very specific, well-defined parameters. Provide an unambiguous description of your goods and/or services, identify appropriate trademark class(es), list relevant keywords (use the ID Manuals to extract keywords), and include possible spelling or pronunciation variations (AI generates suggestions). Upload the logo if applicable.
The report is structured with a title page and a bookmarked table of contents for easy navigation. It opens with exact and near-exact matches in the requested classes, followed by the 100 most relevant live USPTO records across all classes, and then up to 25 of the most relevant dead records (if requested). All remaining search results from the databases referenced above are included thereafter. Reports can be shared with a password protected link via email, and be downloaded in PDF, Word, Excel, or CSV.
Proof the search results before you make any legal decision. Your paralegal may no longer spend hours searching and formatting raw data into a clearance report, but they still must proof and verify any report generated by a service, whether AI-driven or manually prepared. That final human review is inescapable and beneficial.
The flexibility of using our AI clearance search is you can rerun a search whenever you need, whether you're refining a keyword strategy or running a final check just before filing. Follow-up searches are essential because USPTO and WIPO records update daily, and new filings may not appear immediately due to database lag times.
A rigorous quality check for legal work is non-negotiable. No human or AI is infallible, and high-performing firms always ensure at least a second set of eyes on anything that goes to a client.
AI amplifies expertise — it doesn't replace legal judgment
In Step 2, you stay in the driver's seat: the AI suggests options, but you decide which classes, which keywords or phrases to target, which spelling or pronunciation variations belong in your strategy, and you can revise or add to the design codes that AI suggests.
This participation provides increased accuracy, risk control, and a reliable, defensible report. For any opposition, a human directly involved in determining the search criteria will be critical to your case.
